مَا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ خَلْقاً أَصْغَرَ مِنَ الْبَعُوضِ[3] وَ الْجِرْجِسُ أَصْغَرُ مِنَ الْبَعُوضِ وَ الَّذِي نُسَمِّيهِ نَحْنُ الْوَلَعَ أَصْغَرُ مِنَ الْجِرْجِسِ[4] وَ مَا فِي الْفِيلِ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا وَ فِيهِ مِثْلُهُ وَ فُضِّلَ عَلَى الْفِيلِ بِالْجَنَاحَيْنِ.
‘Allah (azwj) has not Created a creature smaller than the mosquito, and Al-Jarjas is smaller than the mosquito, and that which we call Al-Wala’a is smaller than Al-Jarjas, and there is nothing which the elephant has except that it is in it, similar to it, and it is better than the elephant by having two wings’.
