قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع كُنْتُ أُبَايِعُ[1] لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص عَلَى الْعُسْرِ وَ الْيُسْرِ وَ الْبَسْطِ وَ الْكُرْهِ إِلَى أَنْ كَثُرَ الْإِسْلَامُ وَ كَثُفَ[2] قَالَ وَ أَخَذَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَلِيٌّ ع[3] أَنْ يَمْنَعُوا مُحَمَّداً وَ ذُرِّيَّتَهُ مِمَّا يَمْنَعُونَ مِنْهُ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَ ذَرَارِيَّهُمْ فَأَخَذْتُهَا عَلَيْهِمْ نَجَا مَنْ نَجَا وَ هَلَكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ.
