Their guardians are Satan (Idols)

وَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْلِيَاؤُهُمُ الطَّوَاغِيتُ.

436. Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Ra’ab, from Humraan Bin Ayn, who has narrated the following: Abu Ja’far (asws) said in this “[2:257] and (as to) those who disbelieve, their guardians are the tyrants”. ‘الطَّوَاغِيتُ’ instead of ‘الطَّاغُوتُ’.
