أَتَى أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَ وَلَدُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يَطْلُبُونَ مِنْهُ التَّفْضِيلَ[5] لَهُمْ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ وَ مَالَ النَّاسُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلِيِّ الْحَمْدِ وَ مُنْتَهَى الْكَرَمِ لَا تُدْرِكُهُ الصِّفَاتُ وَ لَا يُحَدُّ بِاللُّغَاتِ وَ لَا يُعْرَفُ بِالْغَايَاتِ وَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَه
