خَالَفَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ع قَوْمَهُ وَ عَابَ آلِهَتَهُمْ حَتَّى أُدْخِلَ عَلَى نُمْرُودَ فَخَاصَمَهُ فَقَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ع رَبِّيَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَ يُمِيتُ قالَ أَنَا أُحْيِي وَ أُمِيتُ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْتِي بِالشَّمْسِ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ فَأْتِ بِها مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَ اللَّهُ لا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ[2] وَ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع عَابَ آلِهَتَهُمْ- فَنَظَرَ نَ
‘Ibrahim (as) opposed his (as) people, and faulted their gods until he was brought to Nimrod (la) to contend with him (la).
