عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْخَزَّازِ عَنْ عَجْلَانَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْمُسْكِرَ حَتَّى يَفْنَى عُمُرُهُ كَانَ كَمَنْ عَبَدَ الْأَوْثَانَ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ مُسْكِراً مَخَافَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَ سَقَاهُ مِنَ الرَّحِيقِ الْمَخْتُومِ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from abu Ayyub af-Khazzaz from ‘ Ajlan abu Salih who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one drinks intoxicating liquor until his life ends he is like an idol worshipper. If one quits drinking intoxicating liquor for fear of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, He will admit him in the garden (paradises) and give him drinks from exquisite, sealed nectar (containers).’”
