alkafi-13873عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَمْلُوكِ يَفْتَرِي عَلَى الْحُرِّ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ ثَمَانِينَ قُلْتُ فَإِنَّهُ زَنَى قَالَ يُجْلَدُ خَمْسِينَ.

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at who said, ‘I asked him asws about the slave who fabricates upon the free. He asws said: ‘He would be whipped eighty (lashes)’. I said, ‘So if it was adultery?’ He asws said: ‘he would be whipped fifty (lashes)’.
