عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نَجْرَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

قَضَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع فِي عَبْدٍ سَرَقَ وَ اخْتَانَ مِنْ مَالِ مَوْلَاهُ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ قَطْعٌ.

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Najran, from Aasim Bin Humeyd, from Muhammad Bin Qays, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far asws having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen asws judged regarding a slave who stole and betrayed from the wealth of his master. He asws said: ‘There is no cutting upon him’.
