عَنْهُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

يَا عُمَرُ لَا تَحْمِلُوا عَلَى شِيعَتِنَا وَ ارْفُقُوا بِهِمْ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ لَا يَحْتَمِلُونَ مَا تَحْمِلُونَ.

522. From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al-Hakam, from Umar Bin Hanzala, who has reported the following: Abu Abdullah (asws) has said: ‘O Umar, do not place a burden upon our (asws) Shites, and be kind to them, for the people cannot bear what you can bear’.
