عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَمِيعاً عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

إِذَا كَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَامِثاً فَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهَا الصَّلَاةُ وَ عَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَ الصَّلَاةِ عِنْدَ وَقْتِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثُمَّ تَقْعُدَ فِي مَوْضِعٍ طَاهِرٍ وَ تَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ تُسَبِّحَهُ وَ تُحَمِّدَهُ وَ تُهَلِّلَهُ كَمِقْدَارِ صَلَاتِهَا ثُمَّ تَفْرُغُ لِحَاجَتِهَا.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan all from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘Performing Salah (prayer) during a woman’s experiencing Hayd (menses) is not permissible. However, she should take Wudu’ as it is taken for Salah (prayer) at the time of each Salah (prayer), sit in clean place and speak of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, glorify Him, praise Him and say Tahlil, (no one deserves worship except Allah) for a period of time to perform Salah (prayer), and then go for her other needs.’”
