سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ ذَهَبَ طَمْثُهَا سِنِينَ ثُمَّ عَادَ إِلَيْهَا شَيْءٌ قَالَ تَتْرُكُ الصَّلَاةَ حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ.

1. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from al-‘Is ibn al-Qasim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a woman whose Hayd (menses) stops for years and it comes back again. He (the Imam) said, ‘She must not perform Salah (prayer) until she is Hayd (menses) free.’”
