بَابُ الْحُبِّ فِي اللَّهِ وَ الْبُغْضِ فِي اللَّهِ‌

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْعَرْزَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَعْلَمَ أَنَّ فِيكَ خَيْراً فَانْظُرْ إِلَى قَلْبِكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ يُحِبُّ أَهْلَ طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ وَ يُبْغِضُ أَهْلَ مَعْصِيَتِهِ فَفِيكَ خَيْرٌ وَ اللَّهُ يُحِبُّكَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ يُبْغِضُ أَهْلَ طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ وَ يُحِبُّ أَهْلَ مَعْصِيَتِهِ فَلَيْسَ فِيكَ خَيْرٌ وَ اللَّهُ يُبْغِضُكَ وَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ.

11. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ibn al-‘Arzami from his father from Jabir al-Juhfi from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “If you like to know whether there is anything good in you, look into your heart. If it loves people who obey Allah and hates those who disobey Him, then there is good in you and Allah loves you. If it hates the people who obey Allah and loves those who disobey Allah, then there is nothing good in you and Allah hates you. A man is with what he loves.”

عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَبَانٍ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَحَبَّ رَجُلًا لِلَّهِ لَأَثَابَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى حُبِّهِ إِيَّاهُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ الْمَحْبُوبُ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَبْغَضَ رَجُلًا لِلَّهِ لَأَثَابَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى بُغْضِهِ إِيَّاهُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ الْمُبْغَضُ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ.

12. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from abu Ali al-Wasiti from al-Husayn ibn Aban from those whom he has mentioned (in his book) from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “If a man loves another man just for the sake of Allah, Allah will give him good rewards for his loving him, even if that man is of the people of the fire, in the knowledge of Allah. If a man hates another man just for the sake of Allah, Allah will give him good reward for his hating him, even if that man is of the people of paradise, in the knowledge of Allah.”

^[1]هذا إذا لم يكن مقصرا في ذلك و لا مستندا إلى ضلالته و جهالته كالذين يحبون الضلالة و يزعمون أن ذلك للّه فان ذلك لمحض تقصيرهم عن تتبع الدلائل و اتكالهم على متابعة الآباء و تقليد الكبراء و استحسان الاهواء، بل هو كمن أحبّ منافقا يظهر الايمان و الاعمال الصالحة و في باطنه منافق فاسق فهو يحبه لايمانه و صلاحه للّه و هو مثاب بذلك و كذا في الثاني فان أكثر المخالفين يبغضون الشيعة و يزعمون أنّه للّه و هم مقصرون في ذلك كما عرفت، و أمّا من رأى شيعة يتقى من المخالفين و يظهر عقائدهم و أعمالهم و لم ير و لا سمع منه ما يدلّ على تشيعه فان أبغضه و لعنه فهو في ذلك مثاب مأجور و إن كان من أبغضه من أهل الجنة و مثابا عند اللّه بتقيته( آت).ص 127

قَدْ يَكُونُ حُبٌّ فِي اللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِهِ وَ حُبٌّ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَمَا كَانَ فِي اللَّهِ وَ رَسُولِهِ فَثَوَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ مَا كَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَيْسَ بِشَيْ‌ءٍ.

13. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa’id from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Yahya al-Halabi from Bashir al-Kannasi from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Sometimes love is for the sake of Allah and the Messenger of Allah and sometimes it is for the sake of worldly matters. For love, which is for the sake of Allah and the Messenger of Allah, the reward is with Allah. For love that is for the sake of worldly matters there is nothing.”

14. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama’a ibn Mehran from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Of the two Muslims who meet each other, the more meritorious is the one who loves his companion more intensely.”

15. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from Ahmad ibn abu Nasr and ibn Faddal from Safwan al-Jammal from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Of the two believers who meet each other, the more meritorious one is the one who loves his brethren more intensely.”

16. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Imran al-Subay’i from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jabalah from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Whoever does not love because of religion and does not hate because of religion has no religion.”
