الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

الْجَارِيَةُ الْبِكْرُ الَّتِي لَهَا أَبٌ لَا تَتَزَوَّجُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ أَبِيهَا وَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَتْ مَالِكَةً لِأَمْرِهَا تَزَوَّجَتْ مَتَى شَاءَتْ.

2. Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Abu Maryam who has said the following: “Abi ‘Abdillah (a.s), has said, ‘The virgin bondmaid who has a father must not marry without his permission.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘If she has control over her affairs she can marry whenever she wants.’”
