1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin was asked if a child can perform cupping on a woman. ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), said, ‘If he is good in cupping and describing then it is not unlawful.’”

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “Once ibn ‘Umm Maktum asked permission from the Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, when ‘Ai’shah and Hafsah were with him. He (the Messenger of Allah) asked them to go to the room and they said, ‘He is blind.’ He (the Messenger of Allah) said, ‘If he cannot see you, you two can see him.’”

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from abu Hamzah al-Thumaliy who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the case of a Muslim woman who is afflicted with a misfortune in her body, like a broken part or wound in a place to which looking is not proper and men are more gentle to treat it than women: if he can look at it. He (the Imam) said, ‘In an emergency he can treat her if she wants.”’

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Sadaqah who has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ’You must not initiate Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to women and you must not invite them for food; the Holy Prophet (saww) has said, “Women are tiredness (weakness in communication) and a matter of private nature thus, you must cover their tiredness with quietness and the privacy of their nature with homes.'"
