سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَتَلَ مَمْلُوكاً لَهُ قَالَ يُعْتِقُ رَقَبَةً وَ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتابِعَيْنِ وَ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ. - عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ زُرْعَةَ عَنْ سَمَاعَةَ مِثْلَهُ.

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws , said, ‘I asked him asws about a man who kills a slave of his. He asws said: ‘He emancipates a neck, and Fasts for two months consecutively, and repents to Allah azwj ’. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Zurara, from Sama’at - similar to it’.
