بَابُ الْقَتْلَى‌

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الَّذِي يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَ يُغَسَّلُ وَ يُكَفَّنُ وَ يُحَنَّطُ قَالَ يُدْفَنُ كَمَا هُوَ فِي ثِيَابِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ بِهِ رَمَقٌ ثُمَّ مَاتَ- فَإِنَّهُ يُغَسَّلُ وَ يُكَفَّنُ وَ يُحَنَّطُ وَ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص صَلَّى عَلَى حَمْزَةَ وَ كَفَّنَهُ لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ قَدْ جُرِّدَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Husayn ibn ‘Uthman from ibn Muskan from Aban ibn Taghlib who has said the following: “I once asked abu ’Abd Allah (a.s.), about those who are killed in the way of Allah, are Ghusl (bath), shroud and hunut done for them? He (the Imam) said, ‘They are buried as they are found in their clothes, unless found alive, then die in which case Ghusl (bath), shroud, hunut and Salah (prayer) are done for them. The Messenger of Allah performed Salah (prayer) for Hamzah and his body was placed in the shroud because his clothes were looted.’”

[1]كان تجريده كان عن بعض ثيابه دون بعض إلّا أنّه لم يبق عليه ما يكفيه لكفنه و لهذا كفنه بآخر.( فى) لا خلاف بين الاصحاب في وجوب الصلاة عليه قال في التذكرة، الشهيد يصلى عليه عند علمائنا أجمع و به قال الحسن و سعيد بن المسيب و الثوري و أبو حنيفة و المزنى و أحمد في رواية و قال الشافعى و مالك و إسحاق و احمد في رواية: لا يصلى عليه. انتهى.ص 211

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ وَ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لَهُ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ الشَّهِيدُ يُدْفَنُ بِدِمَائِهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ فِي ثِيَابِهِ بِدِمَائِهِ وَ لَا يُحَنَّطُ وَ لَا يُغَسَّلُ وَ يُدْفَنُ كَمَا هُوَ ثُمَّ قَالَ دَفَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ع عَمَّهُ حَمْزَةَ فِي ثِيَابِهِ بِدِمَائِهِ الَّتِي أُصِيبَ فِيهَا وَ رَدَّاهُ النَّبِيُّ ص بِرِدَاءٍ فَقَصُرَ عَنْ رِجْلَيْهِ فَدَعَا لَهُ بِإِذْخِرٍ فَطَرَحَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعِينَ صَلَاةً وَ كَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ سَبْعِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from ’Isma‘il ibn Jabir and Zurarah from who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the martyr who is buried with his blood (not washed clean). He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, he is buried in his clothes, with his blood, without, hunut and Ghusl (bath) and is buried as he is found.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘The Messenger of Allah buried his uncle Hamzah in his clothes, with his blood, in which he was hurt and the Holy prophet used his own gown for him, but it came short from the side of his legs. He (the Messenger of Allah) asked for ‘Idhkhir (a certain plant) as cover and he then covered him, performed Salah (prayer) - seventy Salah (prayer) and seventy Takbir.’”

حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ

3. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from more than one person from Aban from abu Maryam who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, say, ‘A martyr if found alive is given Ghusl (bath), shroud, hunut and Salah (prayer) is performed for him. If he is found dead he is buried in his clothes.’”

[3]ربما يتوهم المنافاة بين هذا و بين ما مر في الخبر السابق من تجريده فلا منافاة لكون تجريده كان عن بعض ثيابه و رداء النبيّ صلّى اللّه عليه و آله ليستتر به جميع بدنه. و قوله:« سبعين صلاة» أي سبعين دعاء خارجا عن الصلاة أو قرأ مع كل تكبير دعاء بناء على ما يظهر من بعض الأخبار من أن تعدّد الصلاة كان باعتبار التشريك.( قاله المجلسيّ- رحمه اللّه-).ص 211

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَوْزَاءِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عُلْوَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ص‌ يُنْزَعُ عَنِ الشَّهِيدِ الْفَرْوُ وَ الْخُفُّ وَ الْقَلَنْسُوَةُ وَ الْعِمَامَةُ- وَ الْمِنْطَقَةُ وَ السَّرَاوِيلُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ أَصَابَهُ دَمٌ‌[1] فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ دَمٌ تُرِكَ وَ لَا يُتْرَكُ عَلَيْهِ شَيْ‌ءٌ مَعْقُودٌ إِلَّا حُلَّ.

4. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from his father from abu al-Jawza’ from al-Husayn ibn ‘Ulwan from ‘Amr ibn Khalid from Zayd ibn Ali from his ancestors, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, who has said the following: “’Amir al-Mu’minin, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Skull-cap, shoes, turban, loincloth and trousers are removed from a martyr unless they have become bloody in which case, they are left with, him and everything tied down with him is turned loose and open.’”

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub ibn Sinan from Aban ibn Taghlib who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, say, ‘Those who are killed in the way of Allah are buried with their clothes without Ghusl (bath) unless Muslims find him alive and then he dies afterward, in which case Ghusl (bath), shroud and hunut are done for him. The Messenger of Allah buried Hamzah with his clothes without Ghusl (bath) but he (the Messenger of Allah) performed Salah (prayer) for him.’”
