عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ قَدَّاحٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ إِنَّ أَعْجَلَ الشَّرِّ عُقُوبَةً الْبَغْيُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ja’far ibn Muhammad al-Ash’ari from ibn al-Qaddah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “The Messenger of Allah has said, ‘The evil most quickly facing punishment is tyrannical transgression.’”

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع‌ يَا ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ النَّاسُ أَهْلُ رِيَاءٍ غَيْرَكُمْ وَ ذَلِكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ أَخْفَيْتُمْ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ أَظْهَرْتُمْ مَا يُحِبُّ النَّاسُ وَ النَّاسُ أَظْهَرُوا مَا يُسْخِطُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ أَخْفَوْا مَا يُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ‌ يَا ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى رَأَفَ بِكُمْ فَجَعَلَ الْمُتْعَةَ عِوَضاً لَكُمْ عَنِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ.

English translationMuhammad Sarwar

133. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ali Bin Asbaat who said, ‘Informed me, some of our companions, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said: Abu Ja’far (asws) said: ‘O Ibn Muslim, the people are show-offs apart from you, and that is what you have concealed what Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic Loves, and have displayed what the people love, whilst the people have displayed what Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic is Angered by, and concealed what Allah (azwj) Loves. O Ibn Muslim, Allah (azwj) Blessed and High Sympathised with you, so He (azwj) Made the Mut’a (Temporary marriage) (Permissible) instead of the (intoxicating) drinks’.

[2]أي كما أنهم يتلذذون بالفقاع و الانبذة التي هم يستحلونها و أنتم تحرمونها و لا تنتفعون بها فكذلك المتعة أنتم تتلذذون بها و هم لاعتقادهم حرمتها لا ينتفعون و لا يتلذذون بها و في بعض النسخ صحف بالاسرية- بالسين المهملة و الياء المثناة من تحت- جمع السرية أي انكم لفقركم لا تقدرون على التسرى فجعل اللّه لكم المتعة عوضا عنهن و في سائر كتب الحديث كما ذكرنا اولا و هو الظاهر من وجوه كما لا يخفى.( آت)ص 151

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

يَقُولُ إِبْلِيسُ لِجُنُودِهِ أَلْقُوا بَيْنَهُمُ الْحَسَدَ وَ الْبَغْيَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَعْدِلَانِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الشِّرْكَ‌.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Satan says to his soldiers, ‘Throw unto them envy and tyrannical transgression; in the sight of Allah these two are equal to considering things as partners of Allah.’”

أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ فِي كِتَابٍ انْظُرْ أَنْ لَا تَكَلَّمَنَّ بِكَلِمَةِ بَغْيٍ أَبَداً وَ إِنْ أَعْجَبَتْكَ نَفْسَكَ وَ عَشِيرَتَكَ.

3. Ali has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Misma’ abu Sayyar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) once wrote a letter to me in which he had said, ‘Keep in mind not to ever speak a tyrannical and transgressing word even though your own soul and tribe are more captivating to you.’”

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ الْبَغْيَ يَقُودُ أَصْحَابَهُ إِلَى النَّارِ وَ إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ بَغَى عَلَى اللَّهِ عَنَاقُ بِنْتُ آدَمَ فَأَوَّلُ قَتِيلٍ قَتَلَهُ اللَّهُ عَنَاقُ وَ كَانَ مَجْلِسُهَا جَرِيباً فِي جَرِيبٍ‌ وَ كَانَ لَهَا عِشْرُونَ إِصْبَعاً فِي كُلِّ إِصْبَعٍ ظُفُرَانِ مِثْلُ الْمِنْجَلَيْنِ‌ فَسَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهَا أَسَداً كَالْفِيلِ وَ ذِئْباً كَالْبَعِيرِ وَ نَسْراً مِثْلَ الْبَغْلِ فَقَتَلْنَهَا وَ قَدْ قَتَلَ اللَّهُ الْجَبَابِرَةَ عَلَى أَفْضَلِ أَحْوَالِهِمْ وَ آمَنِ مَا كَانُوا.

4. Ali has narrated from his father from ibn Mahbub from ibn Ri’ab and Ya’qub ibn al-Sarraj all from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) has said, ‘O people, tyrannical transgression leads its associates to the fire. The first person who committed it against Allah was ‘Unaq, daughter of Adam, the first one that Allah killed was ‘Unaq who, when sitting occupied one acre. She had twenty fingers each of which had two fingernails like two sickles. Allah made a lion of the size of an elephant, a wolf of the size of a camel and a vulture of the size of a donkey to kill her. Allah has eliminated the transgressing tyrants in their most ideal and peaceful conditions.’”

[1]« كان مجلسها جريبا إلخ» لعل المراد بمجلسها منزلها أو ما في تصرفها و تحت قدرتها من الأرض و ما زعم: أن المراد مقعدها على ما فيه من الغرابة و النكارة بعيد لان المجلس في اللغة موضع الجلوس او المكان المعين للقضاء أو المحكمة لا مقدار ما يجلس عليه من الأرض. و الجريب:ص 328

[4]« و آمن» أفعل تفضيل و« ما» مصدرية و كان تامّة و المصدر إمّا بمعناه او استعمل في ظرف الزمان نحو رأيته مجي‌ء الحاجّ و على التقديرين نسبة الامن إليه على التوسع و المجاز( آت).ص 328
