عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ وَ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ:

إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ضَنَائِنَ يَضَنُّ بِهِمْ عَنِ الْبَلَاءِ فَيُحْيِيهِمْ فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ يَرْزُقُهُمْ فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ يُمِيتُهُمْ فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ يَبْعَثُهُمْ فِي عَافِيَةٍ وَ يُسْكِنُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ فِي عَافِيَةٍ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from ibn Mahbub and others from abu Hamza from abu Ja’far (a.s.) who has said the following: “Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is protective of certain people against misfortunes. He gives them life in good health, provides them sustenance in good health, causes them to die in safety, will raise them on the Day of Judgment in good health and will admit them in paradise in good health.”

إِنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ عَلَى أَمْيَالٍ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ فَرَأَى فِي مَنَامِهِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ انْطَلِقْ فَصَلِّ عَلَى أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُغَسِّلُهُ فِي الْبَقِيعِ فَجَاءَ الرَّجُلُ فَوَجَدَ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع قَدْ تُوُفِّيَ.

207. From him, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Hammaad Bin Usman who said: ‘Abu Baseer narrated to me by saying, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying that: ‘A man who was miles away from Al-Medina, saw in his dream in which it was said to him, ‘Go and Pray over Abu Ja’far (asws), for the Angels have performed his (asws) washing in Al-Baqi’e’. So the man went, and found Abu Ja’far (asws) to have passed away’.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad all from Ja’far ibn Muhammad from ibn al-Qaddah from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, is very protective of certain people in His creatures. He feeds them in bounties, grants them life in peace and security, will admit them in paradise with favor and mercy and He causes the misfortunes and afflictions to pass them by without harming them at all.”

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Ishaq ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has created a creature that He is very acquisitively protective of. He has created them in peace and security, grants them life in peace and security, causes them to die in peace and security and will admit them in paradise in peace and security.’”
