عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع الرَّجُلُ يَشْرَبُ الدَّوَاءَ وَ يَقْطَعُ الْعِرْقَ وَ رُبَّمَا انْتَفَعَ بِهِ وَ رُبَّمَا قَتَلَهُ قَالَ يَقْطَعُ وَ يَشْرَبُ‌.

230. Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub who said: I said to Abu Abdullah (asws), ‘The man drinks the medicine, and cuts the vein, and perhaps it benefits him and perhaps it kills him’. He (asws) said: ‘He can cut and he can drink’.
