سَأَلَ حَفْصٌ الْأَعْوَرُ[5] أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع وَ أَنَا حَاضِرٌ فَقَالَ كَانَ لِأَبِي أَجِيرٌ وَ كَانَ
Hafs Al-Awar asked Abu Abdullah (as) while I was present, saying: "My father had a hired worker who had something with him. The worker died, leaving behind no heirs or relatives. I am distressed about this matter; what should I do?" Abu Abdullah (as) replied: "The needy are more deserving of it, the needy are more dese
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِلْوَارِثِ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْناً أَوْ ضَيَاعاً فَإِلَيَّ وَ عَلَيَ[3].
I heard Abu Abdullah (as) narrated that the Prophet of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) used to say: "I have a greater claim over every believer than his own self. Whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind debt or dependents in need, then it is upon me and
لَا صَدَقَةَ وَ ذُو رَحِمٍ مُحْتَاجٌ.
Hadith.5828 - The Prophet (sw) said; "There is no charity while a close relative is in need." (needy relatives have a bigger right over the money that was to be given in charity elsewhere)

وَ قَالَ ع إِنِّي لَأَرْحَمُ ثَلَاثَةً وَ حَقٌّ لَهُمْ أَنْ يُرْحَمُوا عَزِيزٌ أَصَابَتْهُ مَذَلَّةٌ بَعْدَ الْعِزِّ وَ غَنِيٌّ أَصَابَتْهُ حَاجَةٌ بَعْدَ الْغِنَى وَ عَالِمٌ يَسْتَخِفُّ بِهِ أَهْلُهُ وَ الْجَهَلَةُ[2].
Hadith.5837 - Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), said: "Indeed, I feel mercy for three people, and it is their right to be shown mercy: A noble person who has been humiliated after his honor, A wealthy person who has fallen into poverty after wealth, And a scholar who is belittled by his own people and
وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص[2] قَالَ اللَّهُ جَلَّ جَلَالُهُ عِبَادِي كُلُّكُمْ ضَالٌّ إِلَّا مَنْ هَدَيْتُهُ[3] وَ كُلُّكُمْ فَقِيرٌ إِلَّا مَنْ أَغْنَيْتُهُ[4] وَ كُلُّكُمْ مُذْنِبٌ إِلَّا مَنْ عَصَمْتُهُ.

عَلِّمْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ شَيْئاً فَقَالَ ع عَلَيْكَ بِالْيَأْسِ مِمَّا فِي أَيْدِي النَّاسِ فَإِنَّهُ الْغِنَى الْحَاضِرُ قَالَ زِدْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِيَّاكَ وَ الطَّمَعَ فَإِنَّهُ الْفَقْرُ الْحَاضِرُ قَالَ زِدْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِذَا هَمَمْتَ بِأَمْرٍ فَتَدَبَّرْ عَاقِبَتَهُ فَإِنْ يَكُ خَيْراً أَوْ رُشْداً اتَّبَعْتَهُ وَ إِنْ يَكُ شَرّاً أَوْ غَيّاً تَرَكْتَهُ.

الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ أُهْدِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص بَغْلَةٌ أَهْدَاهَا لَهُ كِسْرَى أَوْ قَيْصَرُ فَرَكِبَهَا النَّبِيُّ ص بِجُلٍّ مِنْ شَعْرٍ وَ أَرْدَفَنِي خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي يَا غُلَامُ احْفَظِ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْكَ[3] وَ احْفَظِ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ أَمَامَكَ- تَعَرَّفْ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي الرَّخَاءِ- يَعْرِفْكَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ[1] إِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَاسْأَلِ اللَّهَ وَ إِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَع
