سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الَّذِي يُعَالِجُ الْقُرْآنَ[2] وَ يَحْفَظُهُ بِمَشَقَّةٍ مِنْهُ وَ قِلَّةِ حِفْظٍ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ.
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘Those who face difficulty memorizing the Holy Quran due to lesser ability of memorization will be rewarded twofold.’”
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ مَنْ شُدِّدَ عَلَيْهِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ وَ مَنْ يُسِّرَ عَلَيْهِ كَانَ مَعَ الْأَوَّلِينَ[1].
“I heard Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) saying, ‘One for whom memorizing the Holy Quran is difficult, his reward is twofold and those for whom it is easy, they are with the pioneers (the earliest Muslims).”’
يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ لَا يَمُوتَ حَتَّى يَتَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ أَوْ يَكُونَ فِي تَعْلِيمِهِ.
“It is incumbent on a believer not to die without having learnt the Qur’an or being in the process of learning it.”
