Giving Charity to Bedouins and People Who Live in Desolate Areas

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ أَعْطِ الْكَبِيرَ وَ الْكَبِيرَةَ وَ الصَّغِيرَ وَ الصَّغِيرَةَ وَ مَنْ وَقَعَتْ لَهُ فِي قَلْبِكَ رَحْمَةٌ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ كُلَّ وَ قَالَ بِيَدِهِ وَ هَزَّهَا[3].

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنَّ أَهْلَ السَّوَادِ يَقْتَحِمُونَ عَلَيْنَا وَ فِيهِمُ الْيَهُودُ وَ النَّصَارَى وَ الْمَجُوسُ فَنَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), ‘People who live in wilderness come to us. Among them are Jews, Christian and Zoroastrians. Can we give them charity?’ The Imam replied, ‘Yes.'
