كُلُّ صَوْمٍ[3] يُفَرَّقُ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ فِي كَفَّارَةِ الْيَمِينِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘All fasts can lawfully be completed in different times except the fast which is as expiation for an oath.”’

صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فِي كَفَّارَةِ الْيَمِينِ مُتَتَابِعَاتٍ لَا يُفْصَلُ بَيْنَهُنَّ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The fast which is as expiation for an oath must be completed without any interval in between.’”

السَّبْعَةُ الْأَيَّامِ وَ الثَّلَاثَةُ الْأَيَّامِ فِي الْحَجِّ لَا يُفَرَّقُ إِنَّمَا هِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الثَّلَاثَةِ الْأَيَّامِ فِي الْيَمِينِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The seven days and the three days during Hajj are without any interval in between. They are just like three days because of an oath.’”
