The Case of One Who Dies in the State of al-’Ihram

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمُحْرِمِ يَمُوتُ قَالَ يُغَسَّلُ وَ يُكَفَّنُ بِالثِّيَابِ كُلِّهَا يُصْنَعُ بِهِ كَمَا يُصْنَعُ بِالْمُحِلِّ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يُمَسُّ الطِّيبَ.

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about a man who dies in the state of Ihram. He (the Imam) said, ‘Ghusl (bath) and shroud of all pieces must be provided for him like one not in the state of Ihram, except that perfumes must not be allowed to touch him.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hassan ibn Ali (a.s.), died in al-Abwa’ (name of a place) in the state of Ihram.
