“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who is on a journey and when he enters the city he brings two witnesses, and when his wife comes to the door he asks them to bear witness to the divorce. He (the Imam) said, ’Divorce does not take place in this way.’”
