The Inheritance Due to Special Contract

الْمُكَاتَبُ يَرِثُ وَ يُورَثُ عَلَى قَدْرِ مَا أَدَّى.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘A contracting slave inherits proportionate to the amount he has paid.’” (The above form of contracting is a contract between a slave and his master, which is an agreement that requires the slave to pay a certain amount to become free.
