سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ شَهَادَةِ الْأَعْمَى فَقَالَ نَعَمْ إِذَا أَثْبَتَ[1].
“I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the testimony of a blind man. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, it is admissible if he has preserved it.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the testimony of a speechless man in the case of murder. He (the Imam) said, ‘His first words are admissible and his second words are not admissible.”’
