قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِّي رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ وَ لِيَ بِالطِّبِّ بَصَرٌ وَ طِبِّي طِبٌّ عَرَبِيٌّ وَ لَسْتُ آخُذُ عَلَيْهِ صَفَداً[2] فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ قُلْتُ إِنَّا نَبُطُّ الْجُرْحَ[3] وَ نَكْوِي بِالنَّارِ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ قُلْتُ وَ نَسْقِي هَذِهِ السُّمُومَ الْأَسْمَحِيقُونَ وَ الْغَارِيقُونَ[4] قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ قُلْتُ إِنَّهُ رُبَّمَا مَاتَ قَالَ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ قُلْتُ نَسْقِي عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيذَ
I said to Abu Abdullah (asws), ‘I am a man from the Arabs and I have medicine for vision, and my medicine is the Arabic medicine, and I do not take gifts for it’. He (asws) said: ‘There is no problem’. I said, ‘I let the wound bleed and burn it by the fire’. He (asws) said: ‘There is no problem’. I said, ‘And my prescr
