الْحَقُّ الْمَعْلُومُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ هُوَ الشَّيْءُ تُخْرِجُهُ مِنْ مَالِكَ إِنْ شِئْتَ كُلَّ جُمْعَةٍ وَ إِنْ شِئْتَ كُلَّ شَهْرٍ وَ لِكُلِّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلُهُ وَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- وَ إِنْ تُخْفُوها وَ تُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَراءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ وَ الْمَاعُونُ لَيْسَ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ هُوَ الْمَعْرُوفُ تَصْنَعُهُ وَ الْقَرْضُ تُقْرِضُهُ وَ مَتَاعُ الْبَيْتِ تُعِيرُهُ وَ
"The specified right (al-haqq al-ma‘loom) is not part of Zakat. It is something you give from your wealth, if you wish, every Friday, or if you wish, every month.
