The Point Where One Discontinues Talbiyah (Here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command)

إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَى أَعْرَاشِ مَكَّةَ[1] عَقَبَةَ ذِي طُوًى قُلْتُ بُيُوتُ مَكَّةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ.

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), was asked about when one who is for al-Hajj al-Tamattu‘ (advantageous) must stop saying al-Talbiyah (here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command). He (the Imam) said, ‘He must stop al-Talbiyah when he can see the houses of Makkah, of ‘Aqabah Dhi Tuwa’.’ I asked, ‘Is it the houses of Makkah?
