Rare Ahadith

قَالَ: إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ جَعَلَهَا وَقْفاً عَلَى عِبَادِهِ فَمَنْ عَطَّلَ أَرْضاً ثَلَاثَ سِنِينَ مُتَوَالِيَةً لِغَيْرِ مَا عِلَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ مِنْ يَدِهِ وَ دُفِعَتْ إِلَى غَيْرِهِ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ مُطَالَبَةَ حَقٍّ لَهُ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ فَلَا حَقَّ لَهُ‌[1].

“He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘The earth belongs to Allah who has made it an endowment for His servants. Whoever keeps a land out of use for three consecutive years without good reason, loses its ownership and it will be given to others, and one who does not demand his right for ten years, then his right ceases to e

مَنْ أُخِذَتْ مِنْهُ أَرْضٌ ثُمَّ مَكَثَ ثَلَاثَ سِنِينَ لَا يَطْلُبُهَا لَمْ يَحِلَّ لَهُ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ أَنْ يَطْلُبَهَا[2].

‘If you take a land from someone who does not demand it back for three years he loses the right to demand it thereafter.’”
