مِنْ شَرَفِ الرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُطَيِّبَ زَادَهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي سَفَرٍ[4]
Hadith.2454 - The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family) said: "Part of a man's dignity is that he makes his provisions pleasant when he sets out on a journey."
وَ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ع إِذَا سَافَرَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ لِلْحَجِّ أَوِ الْعُمْرَةِ تَزَوَّدَ مِنْ أَطْيَبِ الزَّادِ مِنَ اللَّوْزِ وَ السُّكَّرِ وَ السَّوِيقِ الْمُحَمَّضِ وَ الْمُحَلَّى.
Hadith.2455 - Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn (as) used to prepare the finest provisions when traveling to Mecca for Hajj or Umrah. His provisions included almonds, sugar, and flavored or sweetened barley flour (sawiq).
وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّهُ قَامَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ أَنَا جُنْدَبُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ فَاكْتَنَفَهُ النَّاسُ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَرَادَ سَفَراً لَاتَّخَذَ فِيهِ مِنَ الزَّادِ مَا يُصْلِحُهُ لِسَفَرِهِ فَتَزَوَّدُوا لِسَفَرِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَ مَا تُرِيدُونَ فِيهِ مَا يُصْلِحُكُمْ- فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ أَرْشِدْنَا فَقَالَ صُمْ يَوْماً شَدِيدَ الْحَرِّ لِلنُّش
Hadith.2456 - It is narrated that Abu Dharr (may Allah (swt) have mercy on him) stood at the Ka'bah and said: "I am Jundub ibn Sakn." People gathered around him, and he said: "If one of you intended to embark on a journey, he would take provisions sufficient for his journey. So, prepare provisions for the journey of th
وَ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا بَحْرٌ عَمِيقٌ وَ قَدْ هَلَكَ فِيهَا عَالَمٌ كَثِيرٌ فَاجْعَلْ سَفِينَتَكَ فِيهَا الْإِيمَانَ بِاللَّهِ وَ اجْعَلْ شِرَاعَهَا التَّوَكُّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ[1] وَ اجْعَلْ زَادَكَ فِيهَا تَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَإِنْ نَجَوْتَ فَبِرَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ وَ إِنْ هَلَكْتَ فَبِذُنُوبِكَ.
Hadith.2457 - Luqman said to his son: "O my son, the world is a deep ocean in which many people have drowned. Make your ship in it faith in Allah (swt), make its sail reliance upon Allah (swt), and make your provision in it piety toward Allah (swt), the Mighty and Glorious.
