أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الطَّوَافِ خَلْفَ الْمَقَامِ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ ذَلِكَ وَ مَا أَرَى بِهِ بَأْساً فَلَا تَفْعَلْهُ إِلَّا أَنْ لَا تَجِدَ مِنْهُ بُدّاً[4].

I asked Imam Abu Abdullah (as) about performing tawaf behind the Maqam (of Ibrahim). Imam (as) said: "I do not like it, but I see no harm in it. Do not do it unless you have no other choice."
