Chapter on What is Obligatory for One Upon Whom Hot Water is Poured on His Head, Causing His Hair to Fall Out

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع رَجُلٌ صَبَّ مَاءً حَارّاً عَلَى رَأْسِ رَجُلٍ فَامْتَعَطَ شَعْرُهُ فَلَا يَنْبُتُ أَبَداً قَالَ عَلَيْهِ الدِّيَةُ[3].

I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who poured hot water on another man's head, causing his hair to fall out and never grow back. Imam (as) said: "He must pay the full blood money (diyyah)."
