إِنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَقْطَعَهُمَا أَدَّى إِلَيْهِمَا دِيَةَ يَدٍ فَاقْتَسَمَاهَا ثُمَّ يَقْطَعُهُمَا وَ إِنْ أَحَبَّ أَخَذَ مِنْهُمَا دِيَةَ يَدِهِ فَإِنْ قَطَعَ يَدَ أَحَدِهِمَا رَدَّ الَّذِي لَمْ تُقْطَعْ يَدُهُ عَلَى الَّذِي قُطِعَتْ يَدُهُ رُبُعَ الدِّيَةِ[4].
