قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَا لِمَنْ زَارَ أَحَداً مِنْكُمْ قَالَ كَمَنْ زَارَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص.
“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), ’What is the reward for one who visits anyone of you?’ He (the Imam) replied, ‘It is like visiting the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause.”’
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَا عَلِيُّ مَنْ زَارَنِي فِي حَيَاتِي أَوْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِي أَوْ زَارَكَ فِي حَيَاتِكَ أَوْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِكَ أَوْ زَارَ ابْنَيْكَ فِي حَيَاتِهِمَا أَوْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِمَا ضَمِنْتُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ أُخَلِّصَهُ مِنْ أَهْوَالِهَا وَ شَدَائِدِهَا حَتَّى أُصَيِّرَهُ مَعِي فِي دَرَجَتِي.

دَخَلْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ فَأَتَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَقُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ أَتَيْتُكَ وَ لَمْ أَزُرْ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعْتَ لَوْ لَا أَنَّكَ مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا مَا نَظَرْتُ إِلَيْكَ أَ لَا تَزُورُ مَنْ يَزُورُهُ اللَّهُ مَعَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ يَزُورُهُ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ وَ يَزُورُهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ مَا عَلِمْتُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ اعْلَمْ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع أَف
