قَوَّمُوا خَاتَمَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَأَخَذَهُ أَبِي مِنْهُمْ بِسَبْعَةٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ بِسَبْعَةِ دَرَاهِمَ قَالَ بِسَبْعَةِ دَنَانِيرَ.

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘They evaluated the ring of abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and my father bought it for seven.’ I then asked, ‘Was it seven dirham?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It was seven dinars.’”

“Once, the governor summoned a man of Ale abu Talib in a criminal case, and he passed by abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), who said, ‘Follow him with a ring of ‘Aqiq (carnelian)’. ‘Aqiq (carnelian) ring was brought and he did not experience any undesirable matters.’”

He (the Imam) said, ‘The house that you saw was not my house. It was the house of the woman and yesterday was her day.’”
