إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص دَخَلَ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ- وَ هُوَ فِي النَّزْعِ فَقَالَ لَهُ قُلْ- لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ رَبِّ الْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعِ وَ مَا فِيهِنَّ وَ مَا بَيْنَهُنَّ وَ مَا تَحْتَهُنَّ وَ- رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ سَلامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَ

Hadith.343 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "The Messenger of Allah (sw) entered upon a man from the Banu Hashim who was in the throes of death and said to him: 'Say : La ilaha illa Allah al-Haleemu al-Kareem, la ilaha illa Allah al-‘Aliyyu al-‘Azheem. إِنَّكُمْ تُلَقِّنُونَ مَوْتَاكُمْ- لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَ نَحْنُ نُلَقِّنُ مَوْتَانَا مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ[1]

Hadith.344 - Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said: "You instruct your deceased to say 'There is no god but Allah (swt)' at the time of death, while we instruct our deceased to say 'Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (sw).'".

Hadith.347 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) said: "During the time of the Messenger of Allah (sw), a man from the people of Medina was unable to speak due to throes of death. وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ وُلْدِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَ هُوَ فِي السُّوقِ‌[1] وَ قَدْ وُجِّهَ لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ فَقَالَ وَجِّهُوهُ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِنَّكُمْ إِذَا فَعَلْتُمْ ذَلِكَ أَقْبَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَ أَقْبَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَيْهِ بِوَجْهِهِ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُقْبَضَ.
