سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فَيَمُرُّ بِالْمَسْأَلَةِ أَوْ بِآيَةٍ فِيهَا ذِكْرُ جَنَّةٍ أَوْ نَارٍ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِأَنْ يَسْأَلَ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ وَ يَتَعَوَّذَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ يَسْأَلَ اللَّهَ الْجَنَّةَ.

‘In such case (during prayer) he may ask Allah for protection against fire or for admission in paradise.’”
