لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ فِيهِ غُسْلٌ وَ التَّعْرِيسُ هُوَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى فِيهِ وَ يُضْطَجَعَ فِيهِ لَيْلًا مُرَّ بِهِ أَوْ نَهَاراً[3].
Hadith.3147 - It is narrated that Al-‘Ays ibn Al-Qasim asked Abu Abdullah (as) about performing ghusl (ritual purification) at al-Mu'arras. Imam (as) said: "You are not required to perform ghusl there. Ta'ris (staying briefly at al-Mu'arras) is to pray there and lie down, whether passing by during the night or the day.
لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع رُبَّمَا فَاتَنِي الْحَجُّ فَأُعَرِّفُ عِنْدَ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع[1] قَالَ أَحْسَنْتَ يَا بَشِيرُ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ أَتَى قَبْرَ الْحُسَيْنِ ع عَارِفاً بِحَقِّهِ فِي غَيْرِ يَوْمِ عِيدٍ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عِشْرُونَ حَجَّةً وَ عِشْرُونَ عُمْرَةً مَبْرُورَاتٍ مُتَقَبَّلَاتٍ وَ عِشْرُونَ غَزْوَةً مَعَ نَبِيٍّ مُرْسَلٍ أَوْ إِمَامٍ عَادِلٍ وَ مَنْ أَتَاهُ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ أَلْفُ حَجَّة

Hadith.3209 - When you intend to visit Baghdad, if Allah (swt) wills, perform ghusl (ritual purification), cleanse yourself, and wear two clean garments. مَنْ ذَهَبَ فِي حَاجَةٍ عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ فَلَمْ تُقْضَ حَاجَتُهُ فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ[6]
لَا بَأْسَ إِذَا كَانَ مِنْ طَعَامِكَ وَ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ مُؤَاكَلَةِ الْمَجُوسِيِّ فَقَالَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ فَلَا بَأْسَ[3].
Hadith.4222 - And Al-'Ays ibn Al-Qasim asked Imam (as): "Regarding eating with a Jew or a Christian?" Imam (as) said: "There is no harm if it is from your food." And he asked Imam (as) about eating with a Magian. Imam (as) said: "If he performs ablution, then there is no harm."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص صَاحِبُ الرَّحْلِ يَشْرَبُ أَوَّلَ الْقَوْمِ وَ يَتَوَضَّأُ آخِرَهُمْ[3].
Hadith.4251 - The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: "The owner of the provision will drink first among the people and performs ablution last among them."
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع الْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ يَذْهَبَانِ بِالْفَقْرِ[1].
Hadith.4263 - Safwan al-Jammal narrated from Abi Ghurrah al-Khurasani who said that Abu Abdillah (as) said: "Performing ablution before and after eating removes poverty."
مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَكْثُرَ خَيْرُ بَيْتِهِ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ عِنْدَ حُضُورِ طَعَامِهِ[2]
قَالَ ع[3] مَنْ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ بَعْدَهُ عَاشَ فِي سَعَةٍ وَ عُوفِيَ مِنْ بَلْوَى فِي جَسَدِهِ.
Hadith.4265 - Imam (as) said: "Whoever washes his hands before and after eating will live in ease and will be protected from afflictions in his body."
قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ع[1] فِي الْمَائِدَةِ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ خَصْلَةً يَجِبُ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَعْرِفَهَا أَرْبَعٌ مِنْهَا فَرْضٌ وَ أَرْبَعٌ سُنَّةٌ وَ أَرْبَعٌ تَأْدِيبٌ فَأَمَّا الْفَرْضُ فَالْمَعْرِفَةُ[2] وَ الرِّضَا وَ التَّسْمِيَةُ[3] وَ الشُّكْرُ وَ أَمَّا السُّنَّةُ فَالْوُضُوءُ قَبْلَ الطَّعَامِ وَ الْجُلُوسُ عَلَى الْجَانِبِ الْأَيْسَرِ وَ الْأَكْلُ بِثَلَاثِ أَصَابِعَ وَ لَعْقُ الْأَصَاب
Imam Hasan ibn Ali (as) said: "There are twelve qualities related to the dining table that every Muslim must know, four of them are obligatory, four are recommended practices (Sunnah), and four are etiquettes: As for the obligatory ones, they are: recognition (of Allah (swt)), contentment, mentioning the name of Allah
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ طَاهِراً مُطَهَّراً فَلْيَلْقَهُ بِزَوْجَةٍ وَ مَنْ تَرَكَ التَّزْوِيجَ مَخَافَةَ الْعَيْلَةِ فَقَدْ أَسَاءَ الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.
Hadith.4354 - The Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said: "Whoever desires to meet Allah (swt) in a state of purity and purification, let him meet Him with a spouse. And whoever avoids marriage out of fear of poverty has thought poorly of Allah (swt), the Almighty and Glorious."
قَالَ ع يُكْرَهُ الْجَنَابَةُ حِينَ تَصْفَرُّ الشَّمْسُ وَ حِينَ تَطْلُعُ وَ هِيَ صَفْرَاءُ[1].
Hadith.4409 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), said: "It is disliked to engage in janabah (ritual impurity due to sexual intercourse) when the sun is turning yellow and when it rises while it is yellow."
يُكْرَهُ أَنْ يَغْشَى الرَّجُلُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَ قَدِ احْتَلَمَ حَتَّى يَغْتَسِلَ مِنِ احْتِلَامِهِ الَّذِي رَأَى فَإِنْ فَعَلَ فَخَرَجَ الْوَلَدُ مَجْنُوناً فَلَا يَلُومَنَّ إِلَّا نَفْسَهُ[5]
سُئِلَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ خَصِيٍّ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً وَ هِيَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ خَصِيٌّ قَالَ جَائِزٌ قِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ مَكَثَ مَعَهَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ طَلَّقَهَا هَلْ عَلَيْهَا عِدَّةٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ أَ لَيْسَ قَدْ لَذَّ مِنْهَا وَ لَذَّتْ مِنْهُ قِيلَ لَهُ فَهَلْ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا فِيمَا يَكُونُ مِنْهَا وَ مِنْهُ غُسْلٌ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ إِذَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ أَمْنَتْ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْهَا غُسْلًا قِيلَ لَهُ ف
Hadith.4472 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Jamil ibn Salih from Abu Ubaydah al-Hadhdha' that Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) was asked about a eunuch who married a woman, and she was aware that he was a eunuch. قَالَ ع أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ تَطَيَّبَتْ لِغَيْرِ زَوْجِهَا لَمْ تُقْبَلْ مِنْهَا صَلَاةٌ حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ مِنْ طِيبِهَا كَغُسْلِهَا مِنْ جَنَابَتِهَا[1].
Hadith.4521 - Imam (as) said: "Any woman who applies perfume for someone other than her husband, her prayer will not be accepted until she washes off the perfume as she would wash after a state of major ritual impurity (janabah)."
قُلْتُ لَهُ لِلْمُتَمَتِّعِ ثَوَابٌ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَ خِلَافاً عَلَى مَنْ أَنْكَرَهَا لَمْ يُكَلِّمْهَا كَلِمَةً إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةً وَ لَمْ يَمُدَّ يَدَهُ إِلَيْهَا إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِذَا دَنَا مِنْهَا غَفَرَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَهُ بِذَلِكَ ذَنْباً فَإِذَا اغْتَسَلَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِقَدْرِ مَا مَرَّ مِنَ الْمَاءِ عَلَى

Hadith.4633 - It is narrated from Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Ammar that he said: I asked Abu al-Hasan (as): "Can a eunuch belonging to a man enter upon his women and hand them water for ablution, thereby seeing their hair?" The Imam (as) replied: "No."

عِدَّةُ الْمُخْتَلِعَةِ عِدَّةُ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ وَ خُلْعُهَا طَلَاقُهَا وَ هِيَ تُجْزِي مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُسَمِّيَ طَلَاقاً[1] وَ الْمُخْتَلِعَةُ لَا يَحِلُّ خُلْعُهَا حَتَّى تَقُولَ لِزَوْجِهَا وَ اللَّهِ لَا أُبِرُّ لَكَ قَسَماً وَ لَا أُطِيعُ لَكَ أَمْراً وَ لَا أَغْتَسِلُ لَكَ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ وَ لَأُوطِئَنَّ فِرَاشَكَ وَ لَأُوذِنَنَّ عَلَيْكَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِكَ وَ قَدْ كَانَ النَّاسُ عِنْدَهُ[2] يُرَخِّصُونَ فِيمَا

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص إِنَّ عَلِيّاً وَصِيِّي وَ خَلِيفَتِي وَ زَوْجَتَهُ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةَ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ ابْنَتِي وَ الْحَسَنَ وَ الْحُسَيْنَ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلَدَايَ مَنْ وَالاهُمْ فَقَدْ وَالانِي وَ مَنْ عَادَاهُمْ فَقَدْ عَادَانِي وَ مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ فَقَدْ نَاوَأَنِي[1] وَ مَنْ جَفَاهُمْ فَقَدْ جَفَانِي وَ مَنْ بَرَّهُمْ فَقَدْ بَرَّنِي وَصَلَ اللَّهُ مَنْ وَصَلَهُمْ وَ قَطَعَ اللَّه

إِنِّي ابْتُلِيتُ بِأَمْرٍ عَظِيمٍ إِنَ لِي جَارِيَةً كُنْتُ أَطَأُهَا فَوَطِئْتُهَا يَوْماً وَ خَرَجْتُ فِي حَاجَةٍ لِي بَعْدَ مَا اغْتَسَلْتُ مِنْهَا وَ نَسِيتُ نَفَقَةً لِي فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَى الْمَنْزِلِ لآِخُذَهَا فَوَجَدْتُ غُلَامِي عَلَى بَطْنِهَا فَعَدَدْتُ لَهَا مِنْ يَوْمِي ذَلِكَ تِسْعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ فَوَلَدَتْ جَارِيَةً فَقَالَ لَا يَنْبَغِي لَكَ أَنْ تَقْرَبَهَا وَ لَا أَنْ تَبِيعَهَا وَ لَكِنْ أَنْفِقْ عَلَي

الرَّجُلُ لِسَلْمَانَ مَنْ أَنْتَ وَ مَا أَنْتَ فَقَالَ سَلْمَانُ أَمَّا أَوَّلِي وَ أَوَّلُكَ فَنُطْفَةٌ قَذِرَةٌ وَ أَمَّا آخِرِي وَ آخِرُكَ فَجِيفَةٌ مُنْتِنَةٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ نُصِبَتِ الْمَوَازِينُ فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَهُوَ الْكَرِيمُ وَ مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَهُوَ اللَّئِيمُ.
Hadith.5874 - Al-Mufaddal narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), that he said: "A dispute occurred between Salman Al-Farsi, may Allah (swt) have mercy on him, and a man. سَمِعْتُ مَوْلاَيَ أَمِيرَ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ يَقُولُ : "إِنَّا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ لاَ نَشْرَبُ اَلْمُسْكِرَ وَ لاَ نَأْكُلُ اَلْجِرِّيَّ وَ لاَ نَمْسَحُ عَلَى اَلْخُفَّيْنِ فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ شِيعَتِنَا فَلْيَقْتَدِ بِنَا وَ لْيَسْتَنَّ بِسُنَّتِنَا".
"I heard my master, the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), say: 'Indeed, we are the Ahlul Bayt who do not drink intoxicants, do not eat catfish, and do not wipe over leather socks (in ablution). So whoever is from our Shia should follow our example and adhere to our Sunnah.'"
