“Once I asked Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) about a man who reads the Holy Quran but then he forgets, he reads again and forgets. Is it an offense? The Imam said, ‘No, it is not an offense.’”

Surah al-Mulk (Chapter 67) is a protector. It protects against the torment of the grave. It ( Surah al-Mulk) is written in the Torah. “If one visits the grave of his brother (in belief), places his hand over the grave and reads Surah 97 of the Holy Quran seven times he, on the distressful Day (of Judgment) will be granted full protection and peace.’””

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), to teach me about the most excellent time for the morning Salah (prayer). He (the Imam) (a.s.), said, ‘About the coming of dawn, Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, says, “You must perform Salah (prayer)) and the recitation at dawn. The recitation at dawn certainly was witnessed.”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One, when reading from the Holy Quran, should, upon coming across a verse that speaks of prayer or warning, ask Allah for what is good that one hopes for and for safety from fire and torment.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If a man forgets Adhan and ‘Iqamah until he is in Salah (prayer), if he remembers before recitation he says O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause and says ‘Iqamah but if he has done the recitation he completes Salah (prayer).”

“A man once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), when I was present, ‘How much one recites when it is Zawal (declining of the sun toward the west at noontime)?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘One recites eighty verses.’ The man then left. He (the Imam) said, ‘O abu Harun, have you ever seen an old man more strange than this man who aske
