Without bread we cannot perform Salat (prayer) or fast, perform our obligations toward our Lord.’”

‘The expiation for it is setting free of a slave or fasting for two consecutive months or feeding sixty destitute people. For freeing a slave, a child born in Islam is sufficient.’”
