الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ[3] وَ الْمُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ كَالْبَاسِطِ يَدَهُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ لَا يَقْبِضُهَا[4]. فَإِذَا أَعْدَدْتَ شَيْئاً فَأَعِدَّهُ أَقْرَحَ- أَرْثَمَ مُحَجَّلَ الثَّلَاثَةِ طُلُقَ الْيَمِينِ كُمَيْتاً ثُمَّ أَغَرَّ تَسْلَمْ وَ تَغْنَمْ[5]

Hadith.2461 - And I heard him (Imam (as)) say: "Whoever keeps a noble horse (‘atiq), ten sins are erased from them and eleven good deeds are written for them every day. Whoever keeps a mixed-breed horse (hajin), two sins are erased and nine good deeds are written for them every day. Whoever keeps a workhorse (bardhawn)

Hadith.2466 - A man asked Abu Abdullah (as): "When is it permissible for me to strike the animal I am riding?" Imam (as) replied: "When it does not walk under you as it would walk toward its feeding trough."

I said to him, "May I be your ransom! We see markings on the undersides of the forelegs of animals, like two patches or brands. What is that?" Imam (as) replied: "That is the place where their nostrils were positioned while they were in their mother's womb."

وَ رَوَى عَنْهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سِنَانٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ‌ اتَّخِذُوا الدَّابَّةَ فَإِنَّهَا زَيْنٌ وَ تُقْضَى عَلَيْهَا الْحَوَائِجُ وَ رِزْقُهَا عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

Hadith.2479 - It is narrated from Abdullah ibn Sinan, who said that he heard from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as): "Acquire a mount, for it is an adornment, needs are fulfilled through it, and its sustenance is upon Allah (swt), the Mighty and Glorious."

Hadith.2481 - Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "Whoever among you travels with an animal should begin, when stopping, by feeding and giving water to it."

Hadith.2491 - In another narration, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family) said: "Delay the loading (of animals), for their front legs are suspended, and their hind legs are bound."

Hadith.2502 - It is narrated that a group of people who were walking met the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family), and they complained to him about the difficulty of walking. Prophet (sw) said to them: "Seek assistance through walking briskly (nasl)."

نَعَمْ إِنَّ حَجَّةَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى مَنْ أَطَاقَ الْمَشْيَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ لَقَدْ كَانَ أَكْثَرُ مَنْ حَجَّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص مُشَاةً وَ لَقَدْ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بِكُرَاعِ الْغَمِيمِ‌[5] فَشَكَوْا إِلَيْهِ الْجَهْدَ وَ الطَّاقَةَ وَ الْإِعْيَاءَ فَقَالَ شُدُّوا أُزُرَكُمْ وَ اسْتَبْطِنُوا فَفَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ فَذَهَبَ ذَلِكَ عَنْهُمْ.

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص لِعَلِيٍّ ع‌ يَا عَلِيُّ إِذَا نَزَلْتَ مَنْزِلًا فَقُلِ- اللَّهُمَ‌ أَنْزِلْنِي مُنْزَلًا مُبارَكاً وَ أَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنْزِلِينَ‌ تُرْزَقْ خَيْرَهُ وَ يُدْفَعْ عَنْكَ شَرُّهُ.

Hadith.2508 - The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon him and his family) said to Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as): "O Ali, when you settle in a place, say: 'O Allah (swt), grant me a blessed dwelling, and You are the best of those who provide dwellings' (Surah Al-Mu’minun 23:29).
