سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةٍ[2] لَيْسَ بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَهَا مَحْرَمٌ تَغْشَانِي فَأَحْمِلُهَا فَأُقَبِّلُهَا فَقَالَ إِذَا أَتَى عَلَيْهَا سِتُّ سِنِينَ فَلَا تَضَعْهَا عَلَى حَجْرِكَ‌[3].

“I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a girl who is not a relative to me who holds me and I carry her and kiss her. He (the Imam) said, ‘When she becomes six years old then you must not place her in your lap.’”

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin was asked if a child can perform cupping on a woman. ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), said, ‘If he is good in cupping and describing then it is not unlawful.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ النِّسَاءُ عَيٌّ وَ عَوْرَةٌ فَاسْتُرُوا الْعَوْرَاتِ بِالْبُيُوتِ وَ اسْتُرُوا الْعِيَّ بِالسُّكُوتِ.

‘Women are tiredness (weakness in communication) and a matter of private nature thus, you must cover the privacy of their nature with homes and their tiredness with quietness.’”

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‌ إِنَّ شَيْطَاناً يُقَالُ لَهُ الْقَفَنْدَرُ إِذَا ضُرِبَ فِي مَنْزِلِ الرَّجُلِ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحاً بِالْبَرْبَطِ وَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ الرِّجَالُ وَضَعَ ذَلِكَ الشَّيْطَانُ كُلَّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عَلَى مِثْلِهِ مِنْ صَاحِبِ الْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ نَفَخَ فِيهِ نَفْخَةً فَلَا يَغَارُ بَعْدَ هَذَا حَتَّى تُؤْتَى نِسَاؤُهُ فَلَا يَغَارُ.

ثَلَاثَةٌ لا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ‌ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ وَ لا يُزَكِّيهِمْ‌ وَ لَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ‌ الشَّيْخُ الزَّانِي وَ الدَّيُّوثُ وَ الْمَرْأَةُ تُوطِئُ فِرَاشَ زَوْجِهَا.

“Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘On the Day of Judgment Allah will not speak to three kinds of people and will not cleanse them and they suffer a painful suffering. One is an old fornicating man, a pimp and a woman who allows men to go in the bed of her husband with her.’”

“I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about what is permissible for a man to enjoy with his wife during her experiencing Hayd (menses). He (the Imam) said, ‘Everything except her vulva.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘A Woman is just like a doll for man.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), asked, ‘Do you see those who are born with deformities?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I see them.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because their fathers go to bed with their wives during their experiencing Hayd (menses).”’

إِذَا أَصَابَ زَوْجَهَا شَبَقٌ فَلْيَأْمُرْهَا فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ فَرْجَهَا ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهَا إِنْ شَاءَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ.

“About the case of a woman whose blood discharge stops in the end of Hayd (menses), he (the Imam) said, ‘If her husband has an intense desire he must instruct her to wash her vulva, then he can touch it before Ghusl (bath) if he wants.’”

‘It is up to him.’ I then asked, ‘Do you do so?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, we do not do so.’”

‌ أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ يَكُونُ مَعَ الْمَرْأَةِ لَا يُبَاشِرُهَا إِلَّا مِنْ وَرَاءِ ثِيَابِهَا [وَ ثِيَابِهِ‌] فَيُحَرِّكُ حَتَّى يُنْزِلَ مَاءَ الَّذِي عَلَيْهِ وَ هَلْ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ حَدَّ الْخَضْخَضَةِ فَوَقَّعَ فِي الْكِتَابِ بِذَلِكَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ‌[1]

“A man once wrote to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), and asked about a man who is with a woman and touches her from behind her clothes and his clothes and moves until he discharges semen; if it is like masturbation. He (the Imam) signed the answer that said, ‘In it he has reached his goal (of a sinful act).”’

“Once I was with Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), when a man came and said, ‘O abu Muhammad, I am addicted to women. One day I commit fornication and the other day I fast; if this can become expiation for the sin.’ Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.), said, ‘There is not anything more beloved to Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, than

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ع إِنِّي مُبْتَلًى بِالنَّظَرِ إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ الْجَمِيلَةِ فَيُعْجِبُنِي النَّظَرُ إِلَيْهَا فَقَالَ لِي يَا عَلِيُّ لَا بَأْسَ إِذَا عَرَفَ اللَّهُ مِنْ نِيَّتِكَ الصِّدْقَ وَ إِيَّاكَ وَ الزِّنَا فَإِنَّهُ يَمْحَقُ الْبَرَكَةَ وَ يُهْلِكُ الدِّينَ.

“I once said to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), ‘I am addicted to looking at beautiful women and I like looking at them. He (the Imam) said, ‘O Ali, it is not unlawful if Allah finds that your intention is truthful, but you must remain on your guard against fornication because it destroys bounties and invalidates religion.’”

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Once the disciples of Jesus gathered around him and said, “O teacher of goodness teach us guidance.” Jesus said to them, “Moses has commanded you not to falsely swear by Allah and I command you not to swear even in a truthful manner.” They said, “O Spirit of Allah, please give us more

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ أَ لَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِكِبْرِ الزِّنَا قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ هِيَ امْرَأَةٌ تُوطِئُ فِرَاشَ زَوْجِهَا فَتَأْتِي بِوَلَدٍ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ فَتُلْزِمُهُ زَوْجَهَا فَتِلْكَ الَّتِي لَا يُكَلِّمُهَا اللَّهُ وَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ لَا يُزَكِّيهَا وَ لَهَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ.

اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللَّهِ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ أَدْخَلَتْ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ فَأَكَلَ خَيْرَاتِهِمْ‌[1] وَ نَظَرَ إِلَى عَوْرَاتِهِمْ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Allah’s anger intensifies upon a woman who brings in her family a stranger who consumes their bounties and looks at their privacies.’”

سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ‌ حُرْمَةُ الدُّبُرِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ حُرْمَةِ الْفَرْجِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَهْلَكَ أُمَّةً بِحُرْمَةِ الدُّبُرِ وَ لَمْ يُهْلِكْ أَحَداً بِحُرْمَةِ الْفَرْجِ.

The unlawfulness of homosexual intercourse is more serious than unlawful heterosexual intercourse, indeed Allah destroyed a nation because of the unlawfulness of homosexual intercourse, but He has not destroyed (a nation) because of unlawful heterosexual intercourse.”’

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ مَنْ جَامَعَ غُلَاماً جَاءَ جُنُباً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا يُنَقِّيهِ مَاءُ الدُّنْيَا وَ غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ لَعَنَهُ وَ أَعَدَّ لَهُ‌ جَهَنَّمَ وَ ساءَتْ مَصِيراً ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ الذَّكَرَ لَيَرْكَبُ الذَّكَرَ فَيَهْتَزُّ الْعَرْشُ لِذَلِكَ وَ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُؤْتَى فِي حَقَبِهِ فَيَحْبِسُهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى جِسْرِ جَهَنَّمَ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ حِسَابِ الْخَلَائِقِ ثُمَّ يُؤْمَرُ

Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘One who engages in sexual intercourse with a boy, on the Day of Judgment will rise with the filth of such act and water of the world does not clean him,
