إِنَّ جَبْرَئِيلَ ع أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص فَخَيَّرَهُ وَ أَشَارَ عَلَيْهِ بِالتَّوَاضُعِ وَ كَانَ لَهُ نَاصِحاً فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَأْكُلُ إِكْلَةَ الْعَبْدِ وَ يَجْلِسُ جِلْسَةَ الْعَبْدِ تَوَاضُعاً لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى ثُمَّ أَتَاهُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الدُّنْيَا فَقَالَ هَذِهِ مَفَاتِيحُ خَزَائِنِ الدُّنْيَا بَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ رَبُّكَ لِيَكُونَ لَكَ مَا أَقَلَّتِ الْأَرْضُ

إِذَا اسْتَقَرَّ أَهْلُ النَّارِ فِي النَّارِ يَفْقِدُونَكُمْ فَلَا يَرَوْنَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَداً فَيَقُولُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ‌ ما لَنا لا نَرى‌ رِجالًا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَشْرارِ أَتَّخَذْناهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْأَبْصارُ[2] قَالَ وَ ذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- إِنَّ ذلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخاصُمُ أَهْلِ النَّارِ[3] يَتَخَاصَمُونَ فِيكُمْ فِيمَا كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا. حَدِيثُ إِب

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع مَنْ أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ كُلٌّ قَالَ أَ تَدْرِي مِمَّ ذَاكَ يَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَا أَدْرِي جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ قَالَ إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ دَعَاهُمْ فَأَجَابُوهُ وَ أَمَرَهُمْ فَأَطَاعُوهُ وَ دَعَاكُمْ فَلَمْ تُجِيبُوهُ وَ أَمَرَكُمْ فَلَمْ تُطِيعُوهُ فَأَغْرَى بِكُمُ النَّاسَ‌[4].

مَنْ كَانَ مُسَافِراً فَلْيُسَافِرْ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فَلَوْ أَنَّ حَجَراً زَالَ عَنْ جَبَلٍ يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ لَرَدَّهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ ذِكْرُهُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِهِ وَ مَنْ تَعَذَّرَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْحَوَائِجُ فَلْيَلْتَمِسْ طَلَبَهَا يَوْمَ الثَّلَاثَاءِ فَإِنَّهُ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي أَلَانَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ الْحَدِيدَ لِدَاوُدَ ع.

مَثَلُ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِذَا قَامُوا لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ مَثَلُ السَّهْمِ فِي الْقُرْبِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَوْضِعُ قَدَمِهِ كَالسَّهْمِ فِي الْكِنَانَةِ[4] لَا يَقْدِرُ أَنْ يَزُولَ هَاهُنَا وَ لَا هَاهُنَا.

Abu Abdullah (asws) said: ‘The example of the people of the Day of Judgement when they stand before the Lord (azwj) of the Worlds, where they will have no space for movement for themselves except for their feet, like the arrows (tightly packed) in the quiver, not having the ability for going over there or over there’.

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَتَخَلَّلُ بَسَاتِينَ الْكُوفَةِ فَانْتَهَى إِلَى نَخْلَةٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ عِنْدَهَا ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَ سَجَدَ فَأَحْصَيْتُ فِي سُجُودِهِ خَمْسَمِائَةِ تَسْبِيحَةٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَنَدَ إِلَى النَّخْلَةِ فَدَعَا بِدَعَوَاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَبَا حَفْصٍ إِنَّهَا وَ اللَّهِ النَّخْلَةُ الَّتِي‌ قَالَ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَ عَزَّ لِمَرْيَمَ ع‌ وَ هُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُساقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَب

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‌ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ شَكَا حَاجَتَهُ وَ ضُرَّهُ إِلَى كَافِرٍ أَوْ إِلَى مَنْ يُخَالِفُهُ عَلَى دِينِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا شَكَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَى عَدُوٍّ مِنْ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ وَ أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مُؤْمِنٍ شَكَا حَاجَتَهُ وَ ضُرَّهُ إِلَى مُؤْمِنٍ مِثْلِهِ كَانَتْ شَكْوَاهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ.

Abu Abdullah (asws) having said: ‘Allah (azwj) Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto Suleyman Bin Dawood (as) that: “The sign of your (as) death is a tree which will come out from Bayt Al-Maqdas called Al-Kharnouba”. Suleyman (as) looked around one day and there was Al-Kharnouba tree which had emerged from Bayt Al-Maqdas.

أَنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانُوا إِذَا مَرُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَوْلَ الْبَيْتِ طَأْطَأَ أَحَدُهُمْ ظَهْرَهُ وَ رَأْسَهُ هَكَذَا وَ غَطَّى رَأْسَهُ بِثَوْبِهِ لَا يَرَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- أَلا إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ‌ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا مِنْهُ‌ أَلا حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيابَهُمْ‌ يَعْلَمُ ما يُسِرُّونَ‌ وَ ما يُعْلِنُونَ‌[5].

قُلْتُ لَهُ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- لَأَقْعُدَنَّ لَهُمْ‌ صِراطَكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ‌ ثُمَّ لَآتِيَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ وَ عَنْ أَيْمانِهِمْ وَ عَنْ شَمائِلِهِمْ‌ وَ لا تَجِدُ أَكْثَرَهُمْ شاكِرِينَ‌[3] قَالَ فَقَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع يَا زُرَارَةُ إِنَّهُ إِنَّمَا صَمَدَ لَكَ‌[4] وَ لِأَصْحَابِكَ فَأَمَّا الْآخَرُونَ فَقَدْ فَرَغَ مِنْهُمْ.

دَخَلَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَابُورَ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لِيُوَدِّعَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَمَا وَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَعَلَى الْحَقِّ وَ إِنَّ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ لَعَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَ اللَّهِ مَا أَشُكُّ لَكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يُقِرَّ اللَّهُ لِأَعْيُنِكُمْ عَنْ قَرِيبٍ‌[5].

قُلْتُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ أَ رَأَيْتَ الرَّادَّ عَلَيَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فَهُوَ كَالرَّادِّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ مَنْ رَدَّ عَلَيْكَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فَهُوَ كَالرَّادِّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى هَذَا الْأَمْرِ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ قُلْتُ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ قَالَ إِي وَ اللَّهِ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ حَيّ

I said to him (asws), ‘May I be sacrificed for you (asws), do you (asws) see the one who rejects this matter (Al-Wilayah) to me as if he has rejected you (asws)?’ He (asws) said: ‘O Abu Muhammad! The one who rejects this matter to you, so he has rejected against the Rasool Allah (saww), and against Allah (azwj) Blessed

قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَا مَالِكُ أَ مَا تَرْضَوْنَ أَنْ تُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَ تُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَ تَكُفُّوا[1] وَ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ يَا مَالِكُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ ائْتَمُّوا بِإِمَامٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَلْعَنُهُمْ وَ يَلْعَنُونَهُ إِلَّا أَنْتُمْ وَ مَنْ كَانَ عَلَى مِثْلِ حَالِكُمْ يَا مَالِكُ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ وَ اللَّهِ مِنْكُمْ عَلَى هَذَا الْأَمْرِ لَشَه

You have maintained relations whilst the people have cut-off, and you loved whilst the people hated (you), and you recognised whilst the people denied, and it is the ‘الْحَقُّ’ Just. Abu Al-Hassan the First (asws) replied, when I said to him (asws), ‘May I be sacrificed for you (asws), (its about) a man from our brethren, a matter has reached me about him which I dislike, so I ask about that but he denies that, and it has been informed to me from reliable people’. مَنْ وُلِدَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ حُرّاً فَهُوَ عَرَبِيٌّ وَ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَهْدٌ فَخُفِرَ فِي عَهْدِهِ‌[1] فَهُوَ مَوْلًى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ مَنْ دَخَلَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ طَوْعاً فَهُوَ مُهَاجِرٌ[2].

Abu Ja’far (asws) said: ‘The one born in Al-Islam as a free person, so he is an Arab, and the one who had a treaty for him and he kept to it, so he is a slave of the Rasool Allah (saww), and the one who entered in Al-Islam willingly, so he is an emigrant’.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَ أَمْسَى وَ عِنْدَهُ ثَلَاثٌ فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ عَلَيْهِ النِّعْمَةُ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَ أَمْسَى مُعَافًى فِي بَدَنِهِ آمِناً فِي سَرْبِهِ‌[3] عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ الرَّابِعَةُ فَقَدْ تَمَّتْ عَلَيْهِ النِّعْمَةُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ هُوَ الْإِسْلَامُ.

Abu Abdullah (asws) having said that: ‘A man came to the Prophet (saww) and said to him (saww), ‘O Rasool Allah (saww), advise me’. I heard Abu Abdullah (asws) saying to his (asws) companions one day: ‘Do not find faults with the one who comes to you with his cordiality, and do not let him remain upon the sins which he is indulging in, for it is not from the morals of the Rasool Allah (saww), nor is it from the morals of his (asws) friends. قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص‌ حَقٌّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَراً أَنْ يُعْلِمَ إِخْوَانَهُ وَ حَقٌّ عَلَى إِخْوَانِهِ إِذَا قَدِمَ أَنْ يَأْتُوهُ.

The Prophet (saww) said: ‘It is a right upon the Muslim if he intends to travel that he should let his brothers know about it, and it is a right upon his brothers that they should come to him (visit) when he comes back’.

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ إِنَّ لِلشَّمْسِ ثَلَاثَمِائَةٍ وَ سِتِّينَ بُرْجاً كُلُّ بُرْجٍ مِنْهَا مِثْلُ جَزِيرَةٍ مِنْ جَزَائِرِ الْعَرَبِ فَتَنْزِلُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ عَلَى بُرْجٍ مِنْهَا فَإِذَا غَابَتِ انْتَهَتْ إِلَى حَدِّ بُطْنَانِ الْعَرْشِ فَلَمْ تَزَلْ سَاجِدَةً إِلَى الْغَدِ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّ إِلَى مَوْضِعِ مَطْلَعِهَا وَ مَعَهَا مَلَكَانِ يَهْتِفَانِ مَعَهَا وَ إِنَّ وَجْهَهَا لِأَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ وَ قَفَاهَا

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ لآَخُذَنَّ الْبَرِي‌ءَ مِنْكُمْ بِذَنْبِ السَّقِيمِ‌[1] وَ لِمَ لَا أَفْعَلُ وَ يَبْلُغُكُمْ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ مَا يَشِينُكُمْ وَ يَشِينُنِي فَتُجَالِسُونَهُمْ وَ تُحَدِّثُونَهُمْ فَيَمُرُّ بِكُمُ الْمَارُّ فَيَقُولُ هَؤُلَاءِ شَرٌّ مِنْ هَذَا[2] فَلَوْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا بَلَغَكُمْ عَنْهُ مَا تَكْرَهُونَ زَبَرْتُمُوهُمْ‌[3] وَ نَهَيْتُمُوهُمْ كَانَ أَبَرَّ بِكُمْ وَ بِي.
