نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص عَنِ الْأَكْلِ عَلَى الْجَنَابَةِ[3] وَ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يُورِثُ الْفَقْرَ وَ نَهَى عَنْ تَقْلِيمِ‌ الْأَظْفَارِ بِالْأَسْنَانِ وَ عَنِ السِّوَاكِ فِي الْحَمَّامِ وَ التَّنَخُّعِ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ وَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ سُؤْرِ الْفَأْرَةِ وَ قَالَ لَا تَجْعَلُوا الْمَسَاجِدَ طُرُقاً حَتَّى تُصَلُّوا فِيهَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ‌[1] وَ نَهَى أَنْ يَبُولَ أَحَدٌ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ مُثْمِرَةٍ[2] أَوْ عَلَى قَارِعَ

"The Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) forbade eating while in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah)" and said: "It leads to poverty." Hadith.4973 - Hisham, Hafs, and Hammad ibn Uthman narrated from Abu Abdullah (Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as)) that Imam (as) said: "Those who look at women from behind, are they not afraid that the same may happen to their own women?"

Hadith.4974 - Safwan ibn Yahya narrated from Abu Al-Hasan (as) regarding the saying of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic: "O' my father, hire him! سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَعْتَرِضُ الْأَمَةَ لِيَشْتَرِيَهَا قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى مَحَاسِنِهَا وَ يَمَسَّهَا مَا لَمْ يَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَا لَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ النَّظَرُ إِلَيْهِ‌[1].

"I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a man who examines a slave woman to purchase her. Imam (as) said: 'There is no harm in looking at her attractive features and touching her, as long as he does not look at what is not appropriate for him to see.'"

Hadith.4979 - Imam (as) said: "The earth has never cried out to its Lord (azj), the Mighty and Majestic, as intensely as it does because of three things: the shedding of unlawful blood upon it, bathing after engaging in unlawful sexual relations, and sleeping on it (earth) before the rising of the sun."

Hadith.4989 - Hammad narrated from Hariz from Abu Abdullah (as): "Indeed, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) found a man with a woman under one blanket, so he lashed each of them one hundred lashes, minus one lash."

وَ خَرَجَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع بِشُرَاحَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيَّةِ[3] فَكَادَ النَّاسُ يَقْتُلُ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضاً مِنَ الزِّحَامِ فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ أَمَرَ بِرَدِّهَا حَتَّى خَفَّتِ الزَّحْمَةُ ثُمَّ أُخْرِجَتْ وَ أُغْلِقَ الْبَابُ قَالَ فَرَمَوْهَا حَتَّى مَاتَتْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالْبَابِ فَفُتِحَ قَالَ فَجَعَلَ مَنْ دَخَلَ يَلْعَنُهَا قَالَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى ذَلِكَ نَادَى مُنَادِيهِ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ارْفَعُوا أَلْسِن

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فِي الْقُرْآنِ رَجْمٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ كَيْفَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَ الشَّيْخَةُ فَارْجُمُوهُمَا الْبَتَّةَ فَإِنَّهُمَا قَضَيَا الشَّهْوَةَ[2].

I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the stoning mentioned in the Quran. Imam (as) replied: "Yes." I asked: "How is it mentioned?" Imam (as) said: "The old man and the old woman - stone them absolutely, for they have fulfilled their desire."

Indeed, Abbad Al-Makki said that Sufyan Al-Thawri told me, "I see that you have a close relationship with Abu Abdullah (as), so ask Imam (as) about a man who committed adultery while he is ill. Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said: "If a man were to take a bundle of rods or a branch containing multiple rods and struck someone with it once, it would suffice him for however many lashes he intended to administer, equal to the number of rods in that bundle."
