وَ كَتَبَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اَلْحَسَنِ اَلصَّفَّارُ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِلَى أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : رَجُلٌ مَاتَ وَ تَرَكَ اِبْنَةَ اِبْنَتِهِ وَ أَخَاهُ لِأَبِيهِ وَ أُمِّهِ لِمَنْ يَكُونُ اَلْمِيرَاثُ فَوَقَّعَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي ذَلِكَ "اَلْمِيرَاثُ لِلْأَقْرَبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اَللَّهُ".

Hadith.5623 - A man came to Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) and asked him about a woman who passed away, leaving behind her husband, maternal brothers, and a paternal sister. Hadith.5636 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Khalid ibn Jarir from Abu Al-Rabi from Abu Abdullah (as) regarding the grandfather inheriting alongside maternal siblings. Imam (as) said: "Indeed, in the Book of Ali (as), it is written that 'the maternal siblings inherit one-third along with the grandfather.'"

Hadith.5653 - Ali ibn Yaqteen asked Abu Al-Hasan (as) about a man who dies and leaves behind his sister and his freed slaves. Imam (as) said: "The wealth belongs to his sister."

Hadith.5657 - Ali ibn Mahziyar narrated from Fadalah, from Aban, from Al-Fadl ibn Abdul Malik, from Abu Abdullah (as) regarding a woman and her husband upon whom a house collapsed. Imam (as) said: "The woman inherits from the man, and then the man inherits from the woman."

يُوَرَّثُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ كَمَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِوَرَثَتِهِمَا[2].

"The Commander of the Faithful (as) ruled regarding a man and a woman upon whom a house collapsed, causing their death, and it was not known which of them died first. I asked Abu Abdullah (as) about a boy who is ten years old and his father marries him off while he is still young. Is his divorce valid if he divorces at the age of ten? "If a man divorces his wife while he is ill, she inherits from him as long as he remains in that illness, even if her waiting period (iddah) has ended - unless he recovers from his illness."
