اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ثِقَتِي فِي كُلِّ كُرْبَةٍ وَ أَنْتَ رَجَائِي‌ فِي كُلِّ شِدَّةٍ وَ أَنْتَ لِي فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ نَزَلَ بِي ثِقَةٌ وَ عُدَّةٌ كَمْ مِنْ كَرْبٍ يَضْعُفُ عَنْهُ الْفُؤَادُ وَ تَقِلُّ فِيهِ الْحِيلَةُ[1] وَ يَخْذُلُ عَنْهُ الْقَرِيبُ وَ الْبَعِيدُ وَ يَشْمَتُ بِهِ الْعَدُوُّ وَ تَعْنِينِي فِيهِ الْأُمُورُ أَنْزَلْتُهُ بِكَ وَ شَكَوْتُهُ إِلَيْكَ رَاغِباً فِيهِ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ فَفَرَّجْتَهُ وَ كَشَفْتَهُ

قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ع‌ لَوْ مَاتَ مَنْ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِبِ لَمَا اسْتَوْحَشْتُ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْقُرْآنُ مَعِي وَ كَانَ ع إِذَا قَرَأَ- مالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ‌ يُكَرِّرُهَا حَتَّى كَادَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ.

“Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) has said, ‘Having the Holy Quran with me I will have no fear or anxiety, even if everyone between the East and West may all die.’ On reading verse four of Chapter 1, “The owner (of the kingdom) on the Day of Judgment,” repeatedly he seemed as if he were about to die.’”

“We were a group and bought a bird, cut its wings short and brought it in Makkah. People criticized us for this and Karib sent someone to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), to ask him (the Imam) about it. He (the Imam) said, ‘Leave it in the trust of a Muslim man or woman of Makkah, who will release it when it will become normal .

“In Talbiyah (say): ‘Here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command, here I am, O Lord. Here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command, O You who has no partners, here I am, O Lord, to obey Your command. All praise belongs to You, all bounties are from You, as well as the Kingdom, You have no partners, here I am, O Lord, to obey You

سَمِعْتُ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع مَرَّةً بَعْدَ مَرَّةٍ وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ وَ شَبَّكَ أَصَابِعَهُ بَعْضَهَا فِي بَعْضٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ تَفَرَّجِي تَضَيَّقِي وَ تَضَيَّقِي تَفَرَّجِي‌[3] ثُمَّ قَالَ هَلَكَتِ الْمَحَاضِيرُ وَ نَجَا الْمُقَرَّبُونَ وَ ثَبَتَ الْحَصَى عَلَى أَوْتَادِهِمْ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ قَسَماً حَقّاً إِنَّ بَعْدَ الْغَمِّ فَتْحاً عَجَباً.

لَهُ: بِئْرُ مَاءٍ فِي مَائِهَا رِيحٌ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا قِطَعُ جُلُودٍ فَقَالَ «لَيْسَ بِشَيْءٍ لِأَنَّ اَلْوَزَغَ رُبَّمَا طَرَحَ جِلْدَهُ إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ دَلْوٌ وَاحِدٌ.

Hadith.30 - Ya'qub ibn 'Uthaym asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a well of water that had a smell, and pieces of skin were coming out of it. Imam (as) said: "It is nothing (to worry about) because a lizard may sometimes shed its skin. Drawing one bucket is sufficient for that."
