وَ كَانَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع- إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ قَالَ- بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ بِاللَّهِ وَ خَيْرُ الْأَسْمَاءِ لِلَّهِ وَ أَكْبَرُ الْأَسْمَاءِ لِلَّهِ وَ قَاهِرٌ لِمَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَ قَاهِرٌ لِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ‌[6] الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ‌ الَّذِي جَعَلَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ حَيٍّ وَ أَحْيَا قَلْبِي بِالْإِيمَانِ اللَّهُمَّ تُبْ عَلَيَّ وَ طَهِّرْنِي- وَ اقْضِ لِي بِالْحُسْنَى وَ أَرِنِي كُلَّ الَّذِي أُحِبُّ وَ

Hadith.87 - It is narrated that Commander of the Faithful (as), when performing wudu, would say: Bismillahi wa billahi wa khayru al-asma’i lillah, wa akbaru al-asma’i lillah, wa qahirun liman fi as-sama’, wa qahirun liman fi al-ard. Alhamdulillahi alladhi ja‘ala mina al-ma’i kulla shay’in hayyin wa ahya qalbi bil-iman.

Hadith.416 - Archangel Jibril (as), brought to the Prophet Muhammad (sw) an ounce of camphor from Paradise. An ounce in this context is equivalent to forty dirhams. The Prophet (sw) divided it into three parts: one part for himself, one part for Imam Ali (as), and one part for Sayyida Fatimah Al-Zahra {S.A}.

وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌[6]- الْمَرْجُومُ وَ الْمَرْجُومَةُ يُغَسَّلَانِ وَ يُحَنَّطَانِ وَ يُلْبَسَانِ الْكَفَنَ‌[7] قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ يُرْجَمَانِ وَ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِمَا وَ الْمُقْتَصُّ مِنْهُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ ذَلِكَ‌

Hadith.440 - The Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said : "The man and woman sentenced to stoning should be washed, embalmed, and dressed in shrouds before being stoned, then they are to be stoned and prayers are to be offered for them (Salat Al Janazah). وَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً ع لَمْ يُغَسِّلْ- عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ وَ لَا هَاشِمَ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ وَ هُوَ الْمِرْقَالُ وَ دَفَنَهُمَا فِي ثِيَابِهِمَا بِدِمَائِهِمَا وَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمَا[3]. هَكَذَا رُوِيَ لَكِنَّ الْأَصْلَ أَنْ لَا يَتْرُكَ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْأُمَّةِ إِذَا مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ.

Hadith.442 - In another report, "Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), did not wash Ammar ibn Yasir and Hashim ibn Utbah (known as al-Mirqal). Hadith.446 - The Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "From a martyr, the fur, shoes, cap, turban, belt, and trousers should be removed, unless they have been stained with blood ; if they are stained with blood, they are to be left on. No tied item should remain on the body; it must be untied."

Hadith.462 - Hussein ibn Saeed wrote to Abu Al-Hasan Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha (as), asking about the bier of the deceased: Is there a specific side that should be carried first from among its four sides, or can one carry it from any side that is easiest? Imam (as) replied: "From whichever side he wishes."
