سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‌ وَصَلْتُمْ وَ قَطَعَ النَّاسُ وَ أَحْبَبْتُمْ وَ أَبْغَضَ النَّاسُ وَ عَرَفْتُمْ وَ أَنْكَرَ النَّاسُ وَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اتَّخَذَ مُحَمَّداً ص عَبْداً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَهُ نَبِيّاً وَ إِنَّ عَلِيّاً ع كَانَ عَبْداً نَاصِحاً لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَنَصَحَهُ وَ أَحَبَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَأَحَبَّهُ إِنَّ حَقَّنَا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ بَيِّنٌ لَنَا صَفْوُ الْأ

You have maintained relations whilst the people have cut-off, and you loved whilst the people hated (you), and you recognised whilst the people denied, and it is the ‘الْحَقُّ’ Just. مَا أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مُتَّكِئاً مُنْذُ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِلَى أَنْ قَبَضَهُ تَوَاضُعاً لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ مَا رَأَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ‌[2] أَمَامَ جَلِيسِهِ فِي مَجْلِسٍ قَطُّ وَ لَا صَافَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص رَجُلًا قَطُّ فَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ يَدِهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ الرَّجُلُ هُوَ الَّذِي يَنْزِعُ يَدَهُ وَ لَا كَافَأَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بِسَيِّئَةٍ قَطُّ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى لَهُ- ادْفَعْ بِا

ع لَا يَسْتَحِقُّ عَبْدٌ حَقِيقَةَ الْإِيمَانِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ الْمَوْتُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَيَاةِ وَ يَكُونَ الْمَرَضُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الصِّحَّةِ وَ يَكُونَ الْفَقْرُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الْغِنَى فَأَنْتُمْ كَذَا فَقَالُوا لَا وَ اللَّهِ جَعَلَنَا اللَّهُ فِدَاكَ وَ سُقِطَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ‌[2] وَ وَقَعَ الْيَأْسُ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَمَّا رَأَى مَا دَاخَلَهُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ أَ يَسُرُّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنّ

‘Whosoever (other than us (asws)) claims to have the Command (Wilayah), he has lied to the extent that the Satan (la) would be needy of his lie’.

"I heard Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Sadiq (as) saying regarding the statement of Allah, the Almighty and Glorious: «Those are the ones whose hearts Allah knows, so turn away from them, but admonish them and speak to them with a penetrating word» (4:63). Hadith.1112 - Abu Abdullah al-Barqi wrote to Abu Ja'far al-Thani (as), asking: "May I be your ransom, is it permissible to pray behind someone who stopped at (only accepted the Imamate of) your father and grandfather (as)?" Imam (as) said: "Do not pray behind him."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ‌ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَ الْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ وَ ظَنَنْتَ أَنَّكَ إِنْ مَشَيْتَ إِلَيْهِ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَكَبِّرْ وَ ارْكَعْ فَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَاسْجُدْ مَكَانَكَ فَإِذَا قَامَ فَالْحَقْ بِالصَّفِ‌[3] وَ إِنْ جَلَسَ فَاجْلِسْ مَكَانَكَ فَإِذَا قَامَ فَالْحَقْ بِالصَّفِ‌[4].
